Founded in 2003, Chungsoo Environment Co., Ltd. is a pioneering company specializing in innovative solutions like air- rubber dam, Air inflated shield dam (AISD) and Reinforced Bituminous Liner (RBL) extensively used water management in river, canals, reservoir and ponds. With a strong commitment to technological advancement, the company has achieved numerous milestones and garnered recognition for its groundbreaking contributions to the industry. In 2004, Chungsoo Environment Co., Ltd. made its mark with the installation of the first-ever pneumatic steel plate conductive movable beam in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do. This achievement was followed by the development of Korea's first movable weir low-level water discharge device in 2003, showcasing the company's expertise in water level control.

Over the years, the company continued to push boundaries and introduce groundbreaking technologies and In 2009, installed the first underwater movable weir in Korea, located in Gapcheon, Daejeon. This marked another significant milestone in the company's portfolio of innovative solutions.

In 2011, the company achieved yet another milestone by installing Korea's first curved movable beam at Nakdong River old dam. This demonstrated Chungsoo Environment Co., Ltd.'s ability to engineer complex and unique structures to meet the diverse needs of its clients.

Chungsoo Environment Co., Ltd. further solidified its position as a leader in the industry with the acquisition of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications in 2014, underscoring its commitment to quality and environmental sustainability.

In 2017, the company expanded its production facilities at the Gyoha Factory, enabling it to meet the growing demand for its innovative solutions.

One of the company's notable breakthroughs came in 2021, when the company decided to expand its network to India and established its’s subsidiary “ Chungsoo Environment India Private Limited” .
